you can, if you want, play the game in 35 minutes and win an alliance victory for 60K points.
That's pathetic, and I may not ever play this game again because of it.

I've never gotten 60k points and it doesn't really bother me. I enjoy playing the game for what it is. You shouldn't let how others play ruin it for you.

of time & it would appear as you were equals but in reality his battleships would destroy your corvettes.
ably make a reasonable guess. Same here. It'd probably get easier with experience though.
going to be in the finished game or is it going to be more like GC I?
Ok, I think I figured it out.. The PQ = # of squares useable on planet? or is that just a coincidence?
ittle space monst...... It'd make things interesting.. Just wouldn't want to have to face a fleet of 'em.
bing its slumber.
LE> So military might would be based on HP & some other factors? I could see how that would change things.
Nice icon.. ya make it look to easy.
I was kinda close.. I was going for the meaning of it, wasn't sure how accurate I was.
ooOoh, the mountains look good. Do the green square areas represent the useable terrain?

I like how the "Influence borders" are shown on the play screen. It will make it easier when moving transports around and not stepping on some other empires toes and making them angry.
One thing I noticed in GalCiv I is that military might is based on the number of ships you have and not the type or power of the ships you have. So basically you could build up a massive ship base of weak & cheap(inexpensive, low build time) ships and have a huge military which would deter other races from attacking you. It seemed kind of a cheap way of getting around having to go to war. Personally I'd like to see that changed so the other races are
That was probably a dumb question.. but, here is another. If that is the way it works is there a certain(set) number of improvements/buildings you can build per sector?
I read somewhere it was coming out in March... Can't wait.
Stellar Frontier is pretty much free. I'm not sure if you can still play it onilne but you can still download it and play vs the computer. Get it here. [Link]
Even a battleship gets a lot of pain from them. I don't think they should have any guns at all. It should be that you need to send other ships along with it to protect it until invasion time.
by "halo" you're talking about what looks like the atmosphere? right?
I noticed the icon for soil enhancement or something in one of the tiles and was wondering if that is how you upgrade your planet quality... Tile by tile ?
game any.
have to keep 'em happy though so as to not let that happen to one of your planets.
good stuff, it's looking awesome!
I like the minors and hope they're in this game but, I thought it was too easy to extort money/trade goods/techs from them.
