I've done that myself numerous times.. I've taken to renaming my transport to PLANET_INVADER or something so I remember the difference.. :)

The game should be saving them in your 'my documents\my games\galciv3\factions' folder. You can delete them from there - if they still come back, might check steam cloud settings to make sure it's not restoring them automatically or something.
If you make all the opponents random, they ignore your team settings. If you manually pick the races, then the 'team' settings work (trying to put terrans and drengin together, for example) If you have 1 opponent random, it seemed to work correctly. I'm sick of feature testing. I've turned off all mods and removed extra factions to rule those out.
You need a volunteer to test with that didn't buy it on launch day and got the DLC. I'd suspect it might substitute another part, but it might just CTD. Who knows? I'd volunteer, but I have the DLC.
It would nice to have built in, but you can drop to the console (`) and type turn and that will toggle it off / on. I use it all the time in my late games. (Unless you just mean you're looking for a keybind, which is enter or Tab for next item, then next turn when nothing else is asking for attention) Hope that helps.
Having said that, I just tried to start a new game with my custom race mod, and it's no longer listed. (and when I hover over quick start which would have that race selected, the game crashes to desktop). But I was playing from a saved game that I started with that mod/race with 1.03, so i wonder if they snuck in another update.
I had to tweak/rebuild most of my mods using the 'original' files, but all of them worked okay for me, including my custom race mod (standalone mod, not a .faction file) I saw something in the patch notes about them changing the folder structure, but I didn't see any actual change to 'my documents\my games\galciv3' My factions seem to be working okay as well (grabbed a list from someone's post a while back)
You can use the 'govern' tab to issue orders to multiple ships at a time. (Including upgrade) Warning, it doesn't check to make sure you have enough money, so you can get kicked into 'finance only' mode for awhile.
"One Wormhole to many" (vs too many) I know I've seen several others, but can't think of them right now.
Max zoom can be set in the MapSizeDefs.xml (Copy it to the mods folder and then edit it with notepad ++) - change 'MaxCameraZoom' Hotkeys can be set (maybe) in HotKeys.ini, but I don't see anything in there about Galaxy Zoom, or rotation (other than the gizmo) They really need to give us more hotkeys for more things, and bindable keys.
The 64 bit requirement was actually something that intrigued me very much. I've played Sins of a Solar Empire, and while it is a great game, it invariably starts to suffer late game as you get too many trade ships and everything else. So far I think I've given up on one game in GalCiv 3 due to the speed/bugginess. But I mean - as for crashes, I had a replicable crash in just the first tutorial mission on day 1. no mods, etc.&nb
I've been playing since the game went gold. Here's my opinions on the game. (Using 1.02 opt in atm) I'm a little disappointed overall - I feel like I'm playing a beta. All the game site reviews gave it excellent marks, but I see TONS of things they need to improve. I only purchased it when it came out because of the "NEVER AVAILABLE via DLC" ship parts pack, and honestly, I'm not even sure which ship p
Excellent work - I really like the all starbases can mine.
These are awesome. Every time the Predator like one pops up and asks for a simple trade I feel like screaming "DON'T ATTACK ME" Also, the cute eyeballs are hard to take seriously when they are demanding tribute.. :)
Thanks for the suggestion of Auto Hotkey - I used autoIT to click the buyout area when I hit the 'P' key, and it works great!
For those of us specializing planets, and primarily buying out our Banks and Research items, it would be --really-- nice if there was a keybind available to buy the currently queued item for the planet selected. It would also be nice to have a keybind for next/previous planet with something in its build queue. Thanks!
The only nebula references I see are in GalCiv3MapDefs.xml Maybe you could define a new type and force some nebulas into it - but not sure if that would force them for your custom race. I checked in StarSystemDefs.xml to see if maybe you could add it as a LaneType - maybe there is something in there you can use to force what you're after?
So I'm just playing around here. Here's a race based loosely on the Snathi (pic, ships, etc) They have All Bonuses, except Synthetic. They start with 4 colony ships, 3 scout ships, and 3 survey ships. They start with 10,000 credits, and I tweaked their influence default. They start with 5 planets in their Home System - they are all Class 16 and have some sort of beneficia
