I read this book: Lucky, by Alice Sebold. Then I wrote a few thoughts in a BookCrossing journal entry. And now here I am, feeling like I want to say something more. I'm just not sure what.

Alice, I feel sorry for everything that's happened to you, but I don't feel sorry for you. Because if what you wrote in this book is true, then you handled it better than anyone could be expected to. Congratulations, you survived.

I feel like I should say more. Something about Lila. But I don't know how. So that's it.

Yes, if true it's a case of surviving and trying to make sure the rapist has no more power over you
through guilt, fear, anger and more......
