Beta?

Sorry, I'm new here and I had a question. How can I get the beta????

I can't believe I never saw this game, it looks very cool. I've been so hyped about Moo3 and Stars! Supernova Genesis I never saw this game. Do I have to order the game to get the Beta? And if so can I still get in on the Beta?

Thankya much. Cool. Is it worth 44.95? Can anyone honestly tell me?? I like Pax Imperia and Imperium Galactica series, and Moo2, so can anyone tell me if it's worth the purchase?

Your mileage may vary but I enjoyed MOO2 very much as was very disappointed by by Pax Imperia and Imperium Galactica (for different reasons).

GalCiv is heading in an encouraging direction but one thing you should realize about the beta test is that things are in flux and the game is not feature complete.

I had the OS/2 version of this game in the early/mid 90's. It was a tremendously fun game. If they come anywhere near what they had in OS/2 (and it looks like they are), then it will definately be worth your money.

Worth your money? So much depends on what you like. If you have been looking at the downloads available from this forum and like what you see, and have been reading the reviews where Brad tells how he expects the game to play and like that, then I think you are in for a treat.

BTW, I had the OS/2 game from release 1.0 through release 2.5 and enjoyed it immensely. I am very encouraged by what I have seen so far while beta testing its conversion to a Windows version and I personally believe it is going to be a BIG BIG hit.
