The buttons on the left are context sensitive depending on the class of ship.

Wow! I love seeing these new screens, and these context-sensitive buttons sound like a great idea (auto-survey? ;) )

Nice. :CONGRAT: When (need a "pant, pant" face, or a "drool" face)?

Does it really need to be that big unless say you have leaders planned.

This isn't a screen you'll constantly see. I don't see how the size of the dialog matters.

Hey... wouldn't it be neat if the crew of the ship gained the exp instead, and you can move it from ship to ship?

And how about some kind of an academy to train crews while their ships are being built or in orbit? Or a star base upgrade that fills the same function while the ship is in space dock?

Heck, while we're at it we could have a mode where you can raise the children who later go to this academy. Then have an interface for putting resources into education, mental health, military training, physical training...

Let's remember, you're supposed to be leader of the human civilization.

Lucky Jack its called Tir-Quan Training. :)
Ugh DarkHelmet I have trouble keeping track of ships never mind the crew on the ships. :)

Keep the crews abstracted. I wouldn't mind seeing a starbase upgrade that gradually increased ship experience while the ships were in dock/in the sector, though.

No, Tir_Quan training reads "This center of advanced soldier training will increase our soldier's abilities by 50%" so I assume it has to do with the troops that get loaded onto a transport and used for conquest. What I was suggesting is a social improvement that can be built on each planet that trains space ship crews, thus when a ship is built it gets an initial level greater than the 0 level they get now, and that will increase their experience while sitting in orbit (running simulations, for example, to hone their skills). Whether these were applied to the ships or to the crew of ships doesn't matter to me.

'Lucky Jack its called Tir-Quan Training.'

Tir-Quan Training (and any other ssoldering bonus) only affects land troops.
