Stardock program will not uninstall?

I just bought the expansion pack for GalCiv Altaran prophesy, and I wanted to download the beta for the expansion, so I downloaded and installed the program Stardock central.

I screwed up and accidentally entered a serial number for a program I didn't have so I figured I would uninstall and reinstall the program. No dice. It would not let me uninstall. I tried to use the windows add/remove program option, and it says it could not locate the install.logs.
I tried the stardock uninstaller and it told me the same thing.

I am running a basically clean version of Windows XP home.

What kind of bullsh-t bloatware is this to where it wont let me uninstall it?

Now I have been a loyal customer to this company, but programs like this make me reconsider this.

ctrl,alt,del cause Stardock central auto loads into the background and as you know you can't uninstall when the app is running but i've forgotten its name but if you start up Stardock central in the tools then setting uncheck both item's starting with "MCP" THEN REBOOT THEN UNINSTALL OK

Also try a reinstall on top... right over the current install.
