Did you try reconfiguring your mouse properties? Maybe the setting got changed somehow. How old is your mouse? Not much I can think of that would prevent you from using your left click.

It's a new microsoft mouse and keyboard and the left and right click are on their default settings..Also when I click on the place where it says downloads it just goes to the top of the page.

Is it doing that on this site? This is very strange. Maybe you got a dysfunctional mouse. Did you try reinstalling the mouse drivers?

Yeah, I reinstalled the software that came with it but don't really know how to do drivers. The funny thing is it worked fine the other day..

If you reinstalled the software I'm pretty sure it installs the drivers as well. And if it's just this site, it could be a coding problem...not sure.

I'ts only here mainly and I've noticed some things on other sites won't click on either also on some sites I've noticed at the top of the page there is no display. Like on dell website it used to have a list at the top to choose from , now it's not there. It seems to only be an internet explorer glitch. When I'm not online everything works ok. When I'm online I can't print anything the left click button works on some things and not on others. Also outlook express welcome page isn't there. So I don't know what's going on maybe it's just me....

Sounds like a software or script issue.

I assume you are on your new computer - have you run Windows update to see if there are any IE and or Script updates through Microsoft?

If not, then you may want to try that.

If the mouse works on your computer system, but not on internet pages, then it is unlikely to be a hardware issue.

You can look at "Contol Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Set program access and defaults > Custom" and verify that you have "Enable access to this program" checked beside all browser programs that have this option, and verify that "Use my current virtual machine" is checked in the "Choose a virual machine for Java" section.

Here is a link to the scripten executable which will install the up to date run times which was offered by Yraq to people having issues with blank pages Link

I don't know if it will help, but it comes from Microsoft and is for Windows 2000 and XP. I have installed it on my machine running XP Pro with no issues (just to make sure I had the current run times).

If you use it and it fixes your problem, Yraq should get the credit, as I have minimal knowledge of scripting other than you need the correct run times to interact with pages written in the relevant program languages.

Thanks, I'll try it and yes I'm on my new computer..

Installed that scripten thing and everything seems to be alright now. Thanks ,Yraq. Do you have any idea why everything was alright one day and not the next?

Not sure on what created the issue.

Could be an update on the site that changed something.

Glad to hear it worked.

Funny - I see NO posts by Yrag.

I placed the link, but it comes from Yraq in at least 2 other posts.

I indicated that Yraq should get the credit if the scripten executable fixed the problem (see comment #8).

I recently had the same problem and it happened as a result of messing around with objest bar. I found that out for sure when i uninstalled object bar. I have'nt reinstalled it yet. Don't want the hassles that come with it.
