browser and firewall setting s for wincustomize galleries

i am a registered user and commonly use the wincustomize browser and stardock program to access the sites, however, i sometimes use IE 6.0, I've set my browser up to trust this site as well as configuring zone alarm pro to recognize wincustomize.com as a trusted site, now, heres the problem, i can access the main wincustomize page with IE, but as soon as i attempt to enter a library ie wallpapers, suites, logons, etc.....it will not load images within any of these galleries , all i get is the little white square indicating the image is there, but not allowed to load...ive tried adding "http//www wincustomize.com/IndexSkins.aspx" to zone alarm config to indicate there is more than just "http//www wincustomize.com" ..but zone alarm cannot see or find its address to indexes for galleries...any suggestions would be appreciated...thanx

Did you try to allow images3.wincustomize.com and skins3.wincustomize.com ? You have to set these too sometimes as trusted sites.

The url in the last post was the only other one I could find. Try that, if it doesn't work, then it's something else. I just know I had to set those in my nortons one time to get things to display correctly.

what is your adblock setting, even if you have set allowed sites the adblock will not allow images to download or display..with zonealarm, the ad setting for skyscraper/banner ads block legit images and i have mine disabled but leave the popup/under checked and this works fine in my case..if you have any other programs that scan ads..you might have to adjust settings on that program as well..hope this helps

Don't know what the problem is, as I have the same setup and all I did was put it on the trusted side. Both browsers work for me.

ZA config/Privacy/Site List:

www.wincustomize.com
images.stardockcentral.net
images.stardock.com

Enable all, except 3rd party cookies and Private header.

In Options/Ad Blocking, allow all in each site entry.

do you have McAfee firewall?

I noticed also that I blocked a site pinging my computer... but it turned out it wasn't and the site I blocked was actually a server that WinCustomize uses...

It is possible that you blocked the whole server somewhere like I did...

yeah, check that out... look in the banned IP addresses and then ask t-man if the server is where Wincustomize is... plus, if I am not mistaken, they moved servers to a new state a few weeks ago.

yeah... the more I think about it, the more I am sure you should check to see if you block the IP address for the images or if you have the whole server (not IP address, but the server name itself) blocked.
