Problem with Anomalies 16 pack

First off, hello all :) Galciv was just what I wanted after I burnt my copy of Moo3 :p (ok, sorry, last mention of that)

I've encountered a strange bug from the 16 extra anomaly pack I downloaded from the library- instead of giving me a +1% bonus, I get +100%! Which obviously squews the balance somewhat ~~ (esp tax, moral & research- on hard with +300% to each is a cake walk)

I know its third party, but was wondering if there was a way to edit/restore this problem away or if anyone else had had it. If I've got to reinstall I've got to download the excellent mods again! :sniff!:

Thanks in advance if anyone can help. Btw, I know this is lazy, but where are the modding tools? Want to add stuff, but couldn't see them in the library, can someone give me a link?

:sniff!:
sorry to hear that..
i put the right values there , but for some odd reason they didn't work properly on my computer too ..
Hawaii-Five O has tested them and he said they should work properly... I contacted him about this subject for some while ago but he hasn't answered (:(
you can edit them with the galciv writer..
i really know only about modding events, but i don't know why they don't work on your computer, i do know that on some computers they work..
--odd--
you can find the program here

Ok, thanx. Good mods, btw orangebear :)

Am downloading the tools and will try to get modding! I'll post them at the forum you're on, since some nice guy seems to validate them, which is cool.

Btw, is there a full d/l without needing to copy to floppies? Or do I have to download all the separate parts in sequence? i.e. can I just d/l the base then version 1.2.3 to get it running?

but i think you must download first the base version.. ;)

Yes. Download the v1.0.0. Which is here: http://www.ctuit.com/bill/gcinstall.zip
Then download v.1.2.3. The one that came out in 6/11/03. Which is here: http://www.ctuit.com/bill/GCWriterv_1_2_3.zip

Unzip the first one into one folder. Then use the setup.exe to install the GalCiv Writer into another folder. Then unzip the last file I list over the folder with GalCiv Writer installed. It will over-write the files in the folder. You sould then have everything installed. Orangebear, and I will continue working on the mod you reported and see if we can fix the problem.

okay..
i appreciate that.. :D
i don't know does it matter if i type there 1.0 with '.' or 1,0 with ','
that could be one explanation...
galcivwriter allowed me to use only one of them..
don't remeber which one..
but that could be the reason ...not sure :sniff!:

I've joined the CDG Froum- now only a graphics converter lies between me & countless mods!
