How to use the "Image" function when creating a forum post?

It says Enter the URL to an image you wish to insert after clicking on "Image". I have attempted this (Christmas Image), but seem to get errors. Clearly, I am missing a step(s). Thanks!

APB, the images cannot be stored locally on your hard drive. They have to be out on the net somewhere. Or did you already know that?

yup.. it should have a web address instead of a local path.

So an address of "http://mysite.com/myimage.jpg" might work.

A local path would not work (unless everyone had a copy of the image on their hard drive) such as "C:\My Pictures\myimage.jpg"
