How do I get my default media player back?

Are you refering to Windows Media Player?

If so, Open Windows Media Player, go to:
Tools/Options.../File Types/

Then check the file types that you want Windows Media Player to be the default for.

I mean, the skin of it. I want to put my cd on my comp, but I have the Alienware WMP skin, and it wont show it, so I want my default Window media Player skin back. How do I get it back?

Can't you just go to:

View/Go To/Skin Chooser

and select "Windows Clasic"?

By the way, ctrl+1 switches to "Full Mode" while ctrl+2 switches to "Skin Mode". Maybe you need to be in Full Mode to get to the menu system. ???
