Drengin propaganda

Hello everyone:

Here are results of one other project I made, in which i tried to write Drengn - made propaganda and similar things. Set during Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar campaign.

All citizens of the Drengin Empire, this is Lord Vire speaking, leader of the Drengin War Council!

The Drengin Empire now reigns supreme. We has crushed our opposition! The Terrans managed to protect their homeworld behind a Precursor Shield, but we are working on a way of breaching it. Meanwhile, we have destroyed their colonies and can rub into their faces the fact that be have beaten their allies. We occupy Altaria, Toria and Arcea. The Iconians has escaped and went into hiding, but we can leave them for the Yor. The Thalans are of a little concern to us.

But there are two civilizations left. The Drath and the Korx. We bring them under our control. That is why I announce Operation: Business takeover. Our brave fleets are already on their way to the Drath territory. Some of them are from the Korath Clan, who have recently came to operate under their own command structure. Other are from us, “common” Drengin. I urge you to support our cause. Influx of slavelings will help all of us, from the wealthiest, to free workers, to other slavelings. All will get less work.

Some disturbing reports just came from Dratha. Apparently, the Korath has exterminated everyone on that planet. Which means some unfortunate things.

For one, this means no new slavelings and no decrease in work. In fact, your workload is likely to increase. In addition, there is the fact that this should not happen. Korath are part of the Drengin Empire, and preserving sub-Drengin species to serve as slavelings is paramour. There will be a thorough investigation of this. We will get to the bottom of this, and I expect all of you to cooperate. Any disruption in the investigation will be dealt with, swiftly and harshly.

I assure you, we will take any steps necessary to prevent it from repeating, as we are moving to another phase of the Operation: Business takeover.

Our brave forces has dismantled a Terran operation in the Gemini sector. We suspect the Terrans used this sector as a base from which they were spreading their propaganda.

While doing this, we intercepted a technology that allows us to mine asteroid fields. It appears that it was discovered by the Iconians and then leaked to other civilizations.

We must mine all asteroids we can, not only to use these resources but to deny them to our enemies!

Because of that, we are waiting for volunteers to join us on the asteroid mines. We are willing to pardon non - capital offenders if they agree to join.

We have some very disturbing news. We have defeated a major Korx force, as well as units of Terran Alliance and Altarian Resistance. But, everyone there has been exterminated by the Korath. What is more concerning is that Commander Ragash claims these are isolated incidents, while they clearly are not.

Our investigations has failed to reveal anything. However, events like that cannot be ignored. Because of that, we must ask you to watch yourselves around the Korath. Also, special allowances for the Korath has been cut. This should put them back in line.

Spot illicit goods influx!

Thalan freighters are coming every weak on Drengin Cargo Spaceport. They are capable of transporting goods and passengers. Cheap!

Attention, citizens of the Drengin Empire, this is Lord Vire speaking! We have an emergency situation!

Drengin operatives have infiltrated secret Korath laboratories on the Dithir, based on rumors of a genocidal weapon being developed there. The weapon’s existence has been confirmed. It is a planet - killing spore weapon, but I cannot divulge any details.

What’s more, it turned out the Korath are working with the Dread Lords, who survived the Terran attacks. They have promised them great power in exchange of eradication of all non - Drengin, and all Drengin who won’t support them. This must not be allowed!

In addition, the Dread Lords modified the Korath so they no longer look Drengin anymore. Upon this discovery, our forces were cut off from us, with all their long - range communication equipment and most of their forces destroyed by a Dread Lord - generated shockwave. However, they managed to take Dithir long enough to inform us of all of this, and these forces are now on their way to Drengi.

The Korath will certinely start their attacks on us very soon, now that we know so much about them. I expect each of you to work to end this threat. We need every person and every resource to thwart this imminent danger.

Attention Drengin citizens, this is Dark Avatar speaking, directly from my way to Drengi!

We are currently crossing the battlefield of the final battles of the Korx. We have agreed to pick up their leader, Yux Ulnar, in exchange for his guidance through that part of space.

As we are going through this part of space, we are detecting intense battles between the Korath and the Korx. We have recorded a battlefield deployment of the Spore Weapons, now coming onscreen. It is of a low resolution, but it should be enough to see how it spreads through the atmosphere of a planet, killing everyone there.

And here is the new emblem of the Korath Clan. If you see it anywhere, report it. I have reasons to believe that, once the Korx are destroyed, the Korath will attack Drengi.

I expect all of you to do your duty and help us stop the Korath!

The Korath Clan aims to destroy all non - Drengin species, and any Drengin who will not support them. This may not be allowed!

Every species has it’s place in the Drengin Empire. Without the slavelings, the Empire is weaker! Genocide is NOT our way!

The Korath Clan is ready to attack Drengi. Their forces are ready to attack us, having securing a few planets in the attack range of Drengi. There is also a small Dread Lords base backing them.

We have a fleet protecting Drengi and more ships on the way. We have Thalans in the quadrant as well. We are still building new ships. I promise you, we will not allow the Korath or Dread Lords to take Drengi. But we request everyone to be obedient, alert and do their duty. The Korath Clan will certainly try many tricks. We must overcome all of them and then remove them from the quadrant. With the Korath gone, the Dread Lords will surely retreat.

Thanks to great effort of all of us, especially our brave military, the Korath has been driven from the Drengi, and then from our sector. While we have suffered some casualties, I am sure we will be able to rebuild. And the Korath took even worse casualties.

However, the war is not over. While our homeworld is safe, we must not rest until the Korath insurrection brought down, and the Dread Lords are destroyed.

Our new colonization technology will surely continue providing us with critical advantage. Not only that, but, they will become even more useful once the war is over.

We will also need allies to help us fight this war. We have sent a task force to conduct negotiations with the Yor. We hope that they’II see the reason and join forces with us again.

We have just received grave news from our recently - established puppet government on Toria. A huge Korath fleet is en route to that planet, with intention of exterminating everyone on that planet. Our fleet above Toria is too small to deal with it. The Torians are rebuilding their fleet, but it will not be enough to take this fleet out. And we need the Torians to become our slavelings.

A fleet led by the Dark Avatar has been dispatched to deal with that. If they succeed, we will soon have more slavelings on in the Empire. Personal workload should be decreased then. But until then, I expect you to work as hard and diligently as possible. Victory is withing our grasp.

Note: Many calls our reports “propaganda”. It is not. Propaganda is what the Drengin do. It is true that our reports are biased toward us and synthetic life and against the biological life, but this is only natural. These reports show the truth... from our point of view.

Long range sensors has observed the return of Terran Alliance deep space task force Odyssey. Predicted threat: 30%.

Terran forces had established an outpost in a remote sector, close to a series of Korath outposts and a Dread Lords- controlled planet Ai’lur. The Terrans managed to wipe out the Korath from the sector and then take Ai’lur from the Dread Lords. However, they suffered heavy loses while doing so.

Our spy probes detected that Terrans found and released Tandis the Arnor on the planet, and acquired a modified Shard of the Telenath. Predicted threat: 89%.

Actions: Distribute data on Tandis to all Yor Collective units. Put all units on alert. Terran threat has risen.

Do not inform the Drengin Empire of this occurrence.

Continued strikes against the Korath Clan and the Dread Lords.

Alert! Terran fleet has been spotted in sector 25BB. They have a very advanced ship. Analysis: it is an Arnorian Battle Cruiser. Access all data on this ship design.

Probable scenario: Tandis the Arnor created an Arnorian Battle Cruiser for the Terrans to use.

Terrans had begun attacking and destroying our assets in the sector. We were unable to even damage it. New strategies must be developed.

The Terrans has destroyed all our forces in the sector 25BB and abandoned it.

Analysis: The Terrans goal appear to was the complete extermination of our forces in the given sector. We should go to high alert. Distribute all files on Arnorian Battle Cruisers to all our units.

Predicted threat: 96%.

Terran fleet that devastated our forces in sector 25BB has been detected in Korath territory. Objective: unknown.

Fleet destination confirmed: planet Ka’thax, currently under Korath control. Fleet is led by the Arnorian Battle Cruiser.

Terrans have reached Ka’thax, conquered it and then abandoned it.

Analysis: The Terrans have probably conquered Ka’thax in order to acquire something from the planet. Once they had it, they left.

Probability is 89% that it is another modified Shard of the Telenath.

Deep space sensors detected the Terran fleet moving through the Korath space. They now appear to have two Arnorian Battle Cruisers.

Analysis: This further suggests that the Terrans have a second modified Shard.

Terrans have engaged many Korath and Dread Lords ships on their way. They destroyed them, but suffered heavy loses. Predicted threat: 87%.

Our forces and Drengin Empire forces were involved in a stalemate in sector 54BF, fighting with Dread Lords and Korath forces, based around the planet Tarnex, when the Terran fleet arrived to the sector. It now has three Arnorian ships: two Arnorian Battle Cruisers and one Arnorian Battleship.

The fleet went toward Tarnex, on the way conquering one of our colonies. The fleet then took Tarnex when our Assault Fleet 34 were fighting main Dread Lords force in the sector. They took something from the planet and then left. The Terrans has abandoned the sector.

Analysis: 98% that what the Terrans took from Tarnex is the third changed Shard of the Telenath. With all of this, they should now have 3 changed Shards of the Telenath.

Terrans are clearly becoming the most annoying organics in existence. We have been fighting the Iconian Refuge forces in sector 44FF, while also fighting off the Korath Clan (who wanted to exterminate the Iconians themselves) and dealing with the Krynn Consulate, when they arrived. This time, they had only one Arnorian Battle Cruiser, but it was more than enough. They saved the Iconian forces ad inflicted heavy damage on us. Fortunately, they also inflicted such a damage on the Korath in the sector, so they are no threat there now.

Intercepted transmission indicates that the Terrans are now allied with the Iconians. Threat probability: 95%.

Recommendations: Find a way to destroy Arnorian ships. We must do it.

Terran fleet that induces 3 Arnorian Battle Cruisers, 1 Arnorian Battleship and 1 Arnorian Dreadnought had arrived to sector 33hh and is proceeding toward the Dread Lords planet of Du’toth. The Iconians were working with them.

In the sector, there are many civilizations. We and our Drengin allies were just having a major offensive against the Korath Clan and the Dread Lords and were unable to stop them.

Terrans mainly ignored us, but they disrupted the operation by taking a few Drengin worlds. probability: 67% that they were just using them to extend their range. The danger of the Arnorian ships, which allowed this to occur, must be neutralized!

The Terrans has left after taking Du’toth from the Dread Lords. According to our data, the Terrans should now have 4 changed Shards of the Telenath, which is all such Shards in existence.

Recommendations: Find a way to destroy Arnorian ships. Locate where the Terrans are now.

Deep space sensors has locate the Terran fleet. They are around the planet Kai'vox in sector 44hj.

Reaing indicate that they are building... something there. Something big. A lot of constructors are flying in the system. And this is something the Dread Lords are interested in. They are sending all their ships toward that system.

We are detecting Krynn and Iconians around that system.

Prediction: 88% of their total destruction.

Terran - controlled Arnorian ships are patrolling their system and space around it. We are reading 1 Arnorian Dreadnought, 2 Arnorian Battleship and 4 Arnorian battle Cruisers.We are unable to rpedict outocme of their battle with the incoming Dread Lords.

Recommendations: Keep observing.

Whatever Terrans did, it destroyed the star of Kai'vox and all planets in the system. It appears that also all changed Shards of the Telenath has been destroyed in this incident, as well as vast majority of the Dread Lords forces. Surviving Dread Lords forces lost all p[ower and are easily destroyed. And so are Arnorian ships. They are no longer a threat.

Loss of the Dread Lords has affected the Korath Clan. They are disoriented, which the Drengin Empire exploited to lanuch a massive offensive bring them back under their control.

Recommendations: Join the Drengin Empire in ending the Korath rebellion. Check out what the Terrans did.

Krynniac Mythology

A simple overview for missionary use

1. Long age, the Supreme Entity of the Universe decided it was time to create the universe. First, he made the space itself, starting from one point and ever expanding. Then, when He was satisfied with the expansion of space, He decided to create LIfe. He made the Telenath Crystal, a force that could make life, as well as many other things, and sent four Guardians of the Telenath, the ancient Mithrilar, to guard it. Their names are: Mascrithus, Campanianus, Santonianus and Turonianus.

For a long time, they were alone in the universe, waiting for the right conditions for the life to begin. Time had no meaning for them. However, a fifth entity, similar to them but perceiving time, a demon called Draginol, had came. He made the Arnor and the Dark Arnor, but then attempted to harness the power of the Telenath for his own goals, causing a great catastrophe. Campanianus, Santonianus and Turonianus were no more, the Telenath was shattered on many Shards, and a shock wave was sent across all the universe, creating life everywhere it touched where the right conditions were present.

2. On the planet later known as Krysseth, there were so good conditions for life to be created that a lot of different life evolved on it. This attracted the attention of Mascrithus,who arrived on the planet and stimulated the evolution. So, when Draginol’s presence on Altaria caused wars and genocides, His presence on Kryseth caused all life to develop in harmony. And that included many sentient species.

One day, He showed himself across all the Krysseth and spoke to everyone:

“I have shown you how to live in peace with each other. You live in perfect harmony, not rejecting each other due to your differences but embracing your diversity for it’s strength. And for that, you are special.

But there will be other being in the universe that will not share these views. You must find them and bring them into The Way. Only by ding this the universe can be saved. This is your Way. Do it. Remember it.”

And he left then.

3.But not everyone accepted the words of Mascrithus. A group of people from every species on Krysseth that were dissatisfied with it met in secret. Their main complaint was that the speech of Mascrithus told them to spread across the universe and convert others to The Way, but they wanted to simply stay where they were and live simple, pleasant lives.

“We do not want to be forced to spread The Way onto others” - they were saying. - “We should let them have their own way of life, and we have our Way.”

And they started to spread this word across the entire planet. It especially appealed to the lazy and weak part of the population.

But the followers of the True Way decided to put an end to this. They initially tried to convert them peacefully, but, when it failed, a war broke out. It took a lot of time, effort and blood, but, eventually, the heresy was put down and the followers of the True Way emerged stronger than ever.

4. Unfortunately, there was no way to spread the Way beyond Krysseth at the time. And so, for years, any progress stalled.

Fortunately, the diversity helped in scientific progress. And so, after many years, The Way finally left the planet. Primitive spacecrafts left Krysseth and scouted the entire system, finding two habitable planets thee, Krysseth Beta and Krysseth Gamma.

However, they had no means to expand beyond their star system. And they knew they had to. Not only Mascrithus told them that much, but their listening devices were picking up chatter from the universe, indicating that there was intelligent life there.

Fortunately, the answer came that way. The universe brought the way to the Krynn, to spread The Way. Plans for the hyperdrive came in the chatter. They were analysed and adapted into the Krynn ships, allowing the Krynn to begin spreading The Way across the universe.

5. The Krynn found the universe in a pretty bad shape. The evil Drengin Empire was dominating it, but the Korath Clan, who recently rebelled against them, was giving them bog trouble. But they were even worse than the Drengin, seeking to kill all life. The Yor Collective was also powerful, and they were helping the Drengin Empire. Behind all of this stood the Dread Lords. All in all, the universe was in a great need of The Way.

The Krynn accepted refuges from the devastated Korx. They converted into The Way and used their knowledge to help them Krynn know who will be the best converts, and how to convert different species. Soon, Krynn emissaries came to many planets, including Drengi itself. And memebrs of many species, such as Drengin, Torians, Arceans, humans and even Yor converted to the Krynn. Even some Korath found their way there. And some Thalans.

However, the Korx also strengtened the criminal part of the Krynn, which always existed. In time, their influence grown, and as it did, the Krynn civilization changed. Soon after the Terrans built their Terror Star, they completed their takeover of the Krynn, and changed their name from “Krynn Consulate” to “Kynn Syndicated”, making it a civilization it is today.
