Hello,

I have the same problem as this subject https://forums.stardock.com/507124/page/1/#3821372

I noticed that it doesn't work anymore since I changed my wallpaper in slideshow mode. If I change it to just an image, without change, and reactivate Fences it works.

do you know why this is happening and how i can fix it?

Thanks

Damien

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Need to know full Windows version and OS build number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences 5 full version number.
  3. Please elaborate more on what you mean by "Fences doesn't work". More details or a video might help us understand it better.

Thank you.

Hello,

thanks for your awnser, Im on Windows 10:

if I use slideshow mode for the wallpaper and reboot my computer, I get the following error message:

if I try to reactivate Fences it doesn't work, the same message appears.

Once I change my wallpaper to a single image, without slideshow, and reactivate Fences, I no longer get the message and everything works.

Thanks

I can  not reproduce your issue on my Windows 10 system. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

I already did that yesterday without success...

I ended up deleting my Windows profile from the computer, it worked when I set it up and once I rebooted the computer I got the message again.

A piece of information I hadn't given, I work with 3 screens

Thanks you

Damien
