Reliable crash on 2nd save game load

I have a save game file for Sorcerer King (gog version) that exhibits the following behaviour:

* run game & load file - OK

* explore a site

* go to main menu

* reload same file

Game reliably crashes on 2nd load.

Is the game still in maintenance?  Is the file helpful?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I followed your steps with one of my saves, it did not crash.

If you have a savegame where this is reproducible it would help a lot if you uploaded it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here.
