If we change language to german and restart the game, we get an error, how to fix?

From post " Not Start when I Use German Language"
quoting Moderator Schism Navigator "As stated there is only english at this time. We will be disabling the language selector an update to prevent people making this mistake until we have the translations ready."
Go to the folder \Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\ and delete the file Prefs.ini, the game should switch back to English and you should be able to play.
