I'll have to look around on the net and see if I can find a pic of the guy from the 60's who had installed a Big Block RAT motor on a Harely frame and used to run the quarter mile on the rear wheel smking the tire the whole way

Oh and that 500hp Viper Engine turned into a motor cycle is kind of wild also...

I love fast, but that guy from the 60's was just NUTZ!

IPlural: He was called the Michigan Mad Man...I watched him race in the Chicago area (US 30 Drag Strip & Union Grove Drag Strip) numerous times. He was really insane!

He had the Widow Maker's #1 thru #7 (I believe this is #1) He also installed a 16 cylinder Allison airplane engine in a Dodge Dart.

America's Dave Campos, riding a 7-m (23-ft) long streamliner named Easyriders, set American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and Federation Internationale de Motorcyclisme (FIM) absolute speed records with an overall average speed of 518.450 km/h (322.150 mph), and completed the faster run at an average of 519.609 km/h (322.870 mph), at Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, USA, on July 14, 1990. The Streamliner weighed 1133.9 kg (2,500 lb) and was powered by two 1,500 cc Ruxton Harley-Davidson engines.

The highest speed ever achieved on a bicycle is 268.831 km/h (167.043 mph), by Fred Rompelberg (The Netherlands) at Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, USA, on October 3, 1995. His record attempt was greatly assisted by the slipstream from his lead vehicle. Fred has been cycling professionally for nearly 30 years and during that time has held 11 world records.
