Disabling of screen edge toolbars

I use a screen edge pop-up toolbar (Rocketdock) across the top of the screen that will not pop up when Groupy is maximised, it seems like groupy is not letting the RocketDock toolbar know that the mouse is at the top of the screen.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

When you asked in the RocketDock forums \ ticket, what did they reply with?

Thanks for the v quick response, very much appreciated. I'm fairly sure Rocketdock isn't developed anymore so I haven't approached them. I've raised it here because Rocketdock works with every other of the (huge) amount of apps I use on Windows 10....just not Groupy, so I kind of assumed it was a Groupy issue rather than a Rocketdock issue.

It's not just Groupy. CursorFX often (not always, for some reaon) prevents RocketDock from starting up at all, even if I run it with administrator privileges. One might suspect Stardock has issues with them offering a fairly superior product compared to their own ObjectDock. If so, that's quite petty, but in any case; I pay for software to run on my system, not to govern it.

I did chuckle when I read that... No, we do not, have never, nor will we ever directly target any app to not work or underperform.

Hi Sean, that being the case (as I'm sure it would be), could this issue be fixed as no other app I know causes this issue with Rocketdock. Note that I was keen to start using your Objectdock instead of Rocketdock but (strangely) it is not supported for Windows 10.

If there is an 'always on top' option for RD, enabling it would be my 1st thought.

Thanks for the response, there is indeed such an option and I always have it set to "Always on top". I've tried all options of position and behavior but to no avail, It pops up fine on both screen edges and screen bottom but not the top. It shows this behavior on the 3 (very different) PC's I have. Have been using Rocketdock for 10 years now and no other application (of very many, given I'm a very prolific PC user) has shown this disabling behavior. It definitely looks like whatever Groupy is doing to create it's customized tab bar is sitting permanently on top of Rocket dock in a way that no other application does. Thanks again.

Have you tried with both Groupy states?

Aha, yes it does actually work with the (above) left-hand option. I prefer working with the right-hand option but will switch to the left, would be good if this could be addressed at some time to get both states working. I'm happy that this post/case is now closed. Thanks again.

However, on further use this morning I note that the "Combine if possible" doesn't work on many apps, notably MS Office, thus rendering it of no use to resolve this problem.
