please help!!!

Maybe someone already answered this question, but I haven't found it on the message board so I'm posting my question.

When I have my DesktopX active and i'm going through various programs and windows and stuff and then i hit on the classic desktop button on the wuick launch bar, it goes back to my original desktop and not on my desktopX desktop. Why? What do I have to do in order to go back to my desktopX desktop instead of the windows desktop?

I'll be waiting for someone to clear my question. Thank you very much in advance.

Maybe you didn't understand or I didn't express myself correctly

I want that when i hit on the "show desktop" quick launch button it shows me my DTX desktop. I know that I have to kill DTX and then restart it. That's what I want to avoid to have to do.

Any solutions?

If you click "show desktop" again, it should re-show DesktopX and your other open windows. It works like a toggle switch. An alternative to using that shortcut button is using Windows Key + D on your keyboard.

Also, you only need to start one thread.

Ok, I'll try that. Is there anyway to directly show my DTX desktop and not show my windows desktop?

Sorry for posting my thread twice.

You could try using Windows Key + M. That will minimize all your windows, but I'm not sure if it will minimize DesktopX also.

maybe that will work. Unfortunately I can't try right now but tonight I'll try when I go home.

Thank you for the help.

Can you tell me also how to make that spider object or that bug object that I downloaded. Do you know what I'm talking about?

I don't know how to put them down. Do you know?

When you minimize all windows, it will minimize DesktopX, since DesktopX does not *replace* the shell.

I am new at all this and not familiar with the nomenclature so please bear with me... What is a shell or shell styles? I've seen the term used frequently around here. Thank you.
