Is marraige a good idea?

Is marraige a good idea?

I was thinking about getting married... although I am not serious with anyone

But is it a good idea? I like it... or the idea of it anyway. It just seems so peaceful and all that one-ness.

After reading this artical I am not to sure:

I'm so gullable.

#4 by JourneyMan Valhalla - 9/5/2003 5:43:50 AM I sincerely hope marriage is a good thingAS MY DAUGHTER GETS MARRIED TOMORROW !

Congradulations! Many happy years to your daughter.

At last your right WOM. And to add to it I guess it has to also do with how the 2 work... (excuse me I want to say a different word but can't think of one) on the relationship and keep it fresh.

I think the marraige rate is 50/50 now because many go in with wierd expectations. It is about being friends with your mate not just lovers.

(But don't go out with a best friend for years and you decide to make your girlfriend... oh lawd that is a mistake)

I still miss my friend.

I still don't know... how do you know when the time is right?

Then you have this big bash and tell everyone.

It be nice if you didn't and later if it totally flopped you could just sneak away.

I think that is one of the reasons why its a big bash! Plus the fact you made this promise in front of everybody and for those who are religist God also.

It be easier to hide the whole thing and break up anytime you want, but I guess that is the point.

#19 by Doomgaze - 9/5/2003 11:55:11 AM I think marriage is a commitment.so why do you need a ring and a peice of paper and a ceremony and whatnot to prove the commitment?

You don't

Confused here 20 + 9 ? You can't be that old. At least you don't look that old - by about 20 years+

/me thinks China needs to exaggerate a little less...

In 1980 I'd got over the 'dropout' thing. cut my hair, and thought about getting a job...

I've been looking to settle down for some time now and I'm starting to feel rushed. I think at 27 it's about time I guess.
