game loading (saved game)

Validation error message

I am trying to load a saved game. the system gets partially through the load then crashes with no diagnostic error message. When I do a validate/verify game files integrity I get the message  "4 files failed to validate and will be required. without telling me what the 4 files are or how to fixed them.

Were you on the 4.1 beta? If so, do you have mods? If so, read the last few posts in this forum thread: https://forums.galciv3.com/503249/page/2/#3799303 The post by Old-Spider describes the procedure he followed to get his game working again.
