Epic store .. game wont run.

as in the title, I've had trouble getting the game to run the las two days. Downloaded free from the epic store, every time I try to run the game i get an error message.

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this".

well I've done that several times now, even restored my pc to an earlier date thinking it was an corrupt windows update etc. No luck .. any help guys would be much appreciated, I've been dying to play this game for awhile now!.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Have you tried running the EGS launcher and the game as administrator?

Yeah, ive tried both multiple times, along with uninstalling and reinstalling.

I'm really at a loss with it now to be honest and don't know where to go from here.

Have you tried Re-Installing Redistributables?

This worked!, thank you. although it may be worth noting, for future readers. That the link you gave is for the 2012 version, which didn't work but on the same Microsoft page the link takes you to there's a download for the 2015 version which did work.
