Game crashes when loading

I just got the game yesterday on epic games installed it then the game started loading up got to the loading screen then it crashed and went back on to the desktop and came up saying game crashed. I was looking forward to playing this game any help would be appreciated.

The only issue we have seen with that is when the game is installed to a directory that uses non-ASCII characters.

For example: C:\Новая папка\GalacticCivilizations3\...

Can you please check your install directory and see if that might be the issue.

Hi, I have the same issue and still didn't find any solution. So far I checked every google link I could get and no solution as of yet. I also checked the suggestion from DerekPaxton also no problems on that. I found in the Debug.err file lots of entries as follows; hope thats helps. Command Line: -AUTH_LOGIN=unused -AUTH_PASSWORD=Deducted -AUTH_TYPE=exchangecode -epicapp=Deducted -epicenv=Prod -EpicPortal -epicusername=Deducted -epicuserid=Deducted -epiclocale=en Edit; I found the solution I think please open the mentioned debug.err file with notepad and remove the lines which looks similar to what I have mentioned. Afterward the game should start.
