How to change Language with Epic Games

Epic games launcher is already set in right language

Hey Bois,

i dont know how to change language in Steam but with Epic Games launcher i dont have this option.
soooo how can we change our language with Epic Games launcher?

Default language is english and my preferred language is german and this should be possible cause on steam its playable in german so why not with epic games?

they are Working on it


We are working with Epic to implement German, French and Russian. We don't have an ETA for this yet but they are coming.

We are working to get the other languages added. We expect them all to be online in the next few days. You won't need to do anything special (everyone who got a free copy of the game will get the additional languages as well).

J'espère que le problème sera régler rapidement car sachez que sans tutoriel il est impossible de comprendre quoi que ce soit surtout sans le langage approprié.

As far as I understood the problem, there is no way to specify the localization language in the epicgame interface. But there is an option to specify a console option at startup. The -epiclocale=ru option does not work. You need to be able to specify the localization language and reinstall the game.

Hi

Hope that will be fixed quickly. Right now I have time to play. And I would love to buy DLC. But only if I can switch the installation to German.

There is a choice of language in the game settings via Steam, but only the console command is available in the Epic Store, which is not available for Galactic Civilizations III

I'm waiting for this bug to be fixed for the UI and we will be able to choose the language.

Yes, non-English languages are available on Steam and we are in the process of putting them up on Epic too (should be soon).

But I'm not sure what you mean about the console commands. You can set those in both Steam and Epic.

This update is not language related

- Fixed an issue preventing game addons from being discovered properly in certain cases which would cause the game's library tile to be stuck in a perpetual update state.

- Improved error handling around failures to launch games by adding more detailed error codes.

- Improved the error message and handling for games whose saves have hit EGS Cloud Save data size limits.

Gotcha. Sorry, I thought you were asking about command line options in general.

I am a fan of Space Strategies «Stellaris», «Edlles Spase 2». The exchange rate of the Russian ruble is greatly underestimated, so I cannot afford to buy games for the full amount. I wanted to play while there was a discount on Epis Games, in order to understand whether I would like the game and it is possible to buy DLS at a discount. However, apparently not destiny.

Are you still working on it or is this ticket closed?

The Screenshots above......i really don´t know what i should think about......

I really hope the German language will be integrated soon, if not.....Sorry Stardock but than it is an "EPIC"-Fail! 

I thought to buy a DLC, but at the moment i won´t to buy nothing more.

 

Only registered for this posting  - it shows how dissapointed i am.
