Galactic Event DNA Cloning Not working for Yor

Hello,

 

I've noticed a bug with the Galactic Event "DNA Cloning".  I'm screwing up the title because I forgot the screenshot.  There are three options.  The first is benevolent which I didn't think would be worth it as the Yor.  Option 2 was increase growth by 100% for 25 Turns.  Pretty awesome but does it work for the Yor?  Option 3 which I chose was to get 2 free pop which never materialized.

 

Now, I understand the Yor is a synthetic race and that this event maybe shouldn't work for the Yor, but perhaps it can be excluded for the Yor.  Do I need to submit my saved game?  How would I do that.  Many thanks.

 

On a side note, amazing game.  Played the Terrans so far on medium map, normal difficulty.  Now I'm exploring the Yor as a fun challenge.

Do you have a save game when the event pops up? If you can upload it to dropbox or something convenient and post it here we can take a look.

I have the opposite problem. This event and the others that suppose to give free pop never work and my race ain't synthetic but custom carbon race. A few stuff doesn't seem to works or work in a weird way with custom race recently.

Several events that are supposed to change population are broken for everyone.  You can read about it here.

I don't have the save game from that turn but I can get one for 1-2 turns later if that's at all helpful.

I don't think there is any need for you to provide a save.  The devs can verify the problem by starting a game and using the console to force the event to occur.  The solution is in the link in Reply #3.

If you want a fix, you can check this post about two mods I made.  One fixes the population change problem, and the other fixes the population change problem along with the problems synthetics have with some events.
