Adjacency bonus Social Construction???

Planetary Extractor

The Planetary Extractor (Synthetic Race) offers an adjacency level bonus to Social Construction. I first stumbled upon it when I realized that adjecent factories didn't receive any bonus at all. I thought it might be by design, but eventually I realized there are no buildings of type Social Construction in the game. At least none available to the Synthetic Race.

Therefore I consider this a bug.

Since the building itself is of the All Construction type, it would make sense for it to offer an adjacency bonus of that type. Maybe even to Ship Construction as well - there are so few ship construction buildings, it would make sense that at least this central building would be able to boost these as well.

I'm referring to the current base game including Crusade.

This is a remenant left over from previous balancing and rebalancing and trying to change this or that mechanic and reverting back etc etc. You will see a few such instances. (Weapons and thier damages/use of resources is another example of a failed rebalance)

Ok, a bug then.

Have you considered writing a tool to evaluate all those XML files for these kind of inconsistencies? Considering just how many bugs of that kind I've seen reported without even searching for it, it seems to me that the time needed to write such a tool would pay off very quickly. (And it would also be very handy for the modders out there *hint* ;-) )

I mentioned this bug about silicon right after crusades came out. The silicon only have one social construction building, and to give a bonus to this without other buildings is pointless, and a waste.
