Does Beam Magnification Array component do anything? (I'm playing without Retribution DLC.)
These work partially, in my ship designer (from main menu) they work if u have at least 1 non prototype beam weapon. I don't know whether they really work in this way when actually built.
Edit: I'm very sure this is a bug.
