How do you "Confront the Stellar Guild" objective?

Hello, 

I've discovered where the Stellar Guild is, but I don't know how to "Confront the Stellar Guild" which is the last objective. 

I've wiped out all their ships. I've wiped out their shipyard. I have a lot of ships parked around their planet. 

I can't figure out how to complete this objective. . . I need help please.

I haven't gotten to the campaigns yet so this is just a guess.

Build a Transport and take the planet?
