Hi, 

 

Recently downloaded v 3.6

Basically it has all of the ugly tech names i.e has underscores and looks incorrect, also the same for governments too. Government names appear to be their ugly in file names. 

 

Also it keeps crashing whenever I try and load an existing game so have had to delete these. It even crashes auto saves etc. 

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention, every time I try and verify the integrity of the files via steam, it KEEPS loading again and again. It finishes download, then starts again, the finishes and does this continuously without stopping. the only way for it to end is to log out of steam. WTF is going on???

Are you running any mods?  What language of the game are you running?

Try deleting the RebuildData.ini file from the GC3Crusade folder.

Hello, I have only steam mods for ships and custom races but no mods that would change the game or anything.

 

I am running it on English

This actually sounds like something didn't get downloaded.  Check the integrity of the download on Steam to see if there are missing files.
