crashing, for no reason?

step                                                          status                        

load the game                                          no error

load a saved game                                   a little slower, don't think this is harmful, don't think this is what i'm discussing.

view                                                          a little slowdown

click turn                                                   opponent turn too long

recieve next turn                                      unbarable crash, virus attack

negitive tresury for no reason                  task manager needed to close

Have you looked at the recommendations in the Support FAQ?  There might be something there that would help. Doing a verify files in Steam is a good first step.
