Game Keeps crashing to desktop

My game keeps crashing where the game will freeze and never come back. Other times it will crash to desktop. I have seen some folks had the same issue a while ago, is anyone still having this issue?

Did you check if anything in the Troubleshooting FAQ helps with your issue?

Another thing other players have reported that is causing trouble is the new ransomwear protection for Windows. Go to settings, Update and security and there search for Ransomwear protection and check if the option Controlled folder access is disabled.
