Need help with error when loading save

Hi,

I'm having a problem where the game crashes to the desktop when loading a save. So far to get around it I've been loading an old save an continuing from there, however the same thing eventually happens again.

I've uploaded one of the saves to:

Would someone be able to take a look for me?

My system specs are:

Core i7 6700K (4C/8T)

32GB Ram

Nvidia 1060 GTX 6GB

Galactic Civ 3 is installed on 500GB SSD

If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Is this only happening with that specific game? Are you able to play a different game and get up to the same turn number?

Thanks for replying, after not playing the game for a while I updated it several weeks ago and started a new game. I haven't tried another game since to see if that has the same problem. The problems don't seem to happen at the same turn. If I go back to an older save, I can usually continue beyond where I was before, but I randomly seem to run into this problem again.

I reloaded an old save and continued for a while. Currently on turn 490, I've now run into the problem again. I've noticed that the save files are now much smaller, they were 23MB and now they are only 5.8MB. So it seems the save game files are corrupted. I've tried saving at different points during a turn to see if that has any affect but it doesn't seem to. Has anyone encountered save games not saving properly before?
