What Tech Tree?

Hay All,

I read the post on the console cheat codes, They are great in a pinch but I can not figure out how to use the unlock code. The problem is I have the new Intrigue game of GL3 and it is not recognizing the tech tree. Even if I play the Terran it still says unable to find Tech. I find the Terran tech list and put the internal name of the tech using Terran to start but no luck.

I am not sure if it is something with the new add or not for they have new Characters like United Earth and Terran Resistance.

Is there a way to see what Tech Tree is your using? Looking at it in game looks like the Terran Tech tree but the cheat does not work for it.

Any help would be well taken.

Also I cant reply to post on this site. You have to be a member for so long or something?

Tech tree been streamline. Now every race use the same tree base on their lifeform choice. Some races get extra tech depend on their trait.

You go to file to set the path to your mapdef file not sure where that is.

Yes. The code was for pre-Crusade. Those tech tree no longer exist. There is no Terran tech tree, Yor tech tree, or any other race specific tree anymore. All races share the same tech tree but has their own unique branch depend on what lifeform they are, and what traits they picked.

let me try asking another way from my original post.

Does anyone know what the name of the tech tree is for the expansion Intrigue?

 

This will help me to see if unlock can be used. 

I look in the GC3 folder Data/English/Text and do not see the Tech tree

Check the DLC\EXP2_Crusade\Game folder for TechDefs.xml
