My AMD Ryzen 1700 pales into insignificance compared to your i9, but with all the other stuff I had to buy [mobo; RAM; GFX; and other accessories] it was all I could afford. However, I'm not complaining. It will more than meet my needs.... and I can overclock it some if needs be.
I'm still in the process of building mine, though, with a couple of bits n' pieces for cable management yet to arrive. I have installed all the major components so could actually boot the big beastie up now, but as I plan for this to be my last ever build, I'll just be patient and take my time so it is exactly as I want.
Yeah, I'm fussy and take pride in my work, but there's nothing wrong with that. I see that you have paired your Intel i9 with an AMD GFX card, which is something I personally wouldn't do. If my CPU is AMD, then my GFX card is also AMD, and if my CPU is Intel, then my GFX card is Nvidia. Doesn't have to be that way, I know, but it's the way I roll.
