It appears i have a problem exporting spaceships in that the only thing it will export to any 3d modelling software i seem to use is the central piece such as the hull box you can use which is imported as a cube. Now the main thing that confuses me about this is that i have one spaceship design that exported successfully and yet when i then went back in and used that same model the new exported version also doesn't export properly. So do i need to put anything into the spaceship design for it to function properly because i only used 3 parts for the one that worked and then used the same number in others and that didn't work. I then thought it was the equip pieces such as an in game usable engine piece but that wasn't it either. This export problem also seems to apply to completely untouched spaceship designs as the Stardock made designs also won't export successfully.
