Manufacturing Adjacent Bonuses

So I was curious with the split between Social, Ship, and All Manufacturing whether it is intentional that the bonuses from adjacent tiles are kept completely separate? For example the Antimatter Power Plant gives a bonus to adjacent Social and Ship Manufacturing tiles but it does not give a bonus to All Manufacturing tiles, therefore Factories do not receive any bonuses from them. The same is true for the Manufacturing Capital which gives no bonus for adjacent Factories or any All Manufacturing tile. I understand keeping Social and Ship bonuses separate but it seems odd that a tile that is meant to give both Social and Ship adjacent bonuses such as the Antimatter Power Plant would not effect All manufacturing tiles.

Is this new to 2.5?   Antimatter has always buffed my Space Elevators, Factories, and Central mines big-time.

Yeah its from 2.5. My guess is that Antimatter is meant to be buffing All Manufacturing tiles as well because its meant to give a bonus to every type of tile but it doesn't, which i assume is an oversight.

If it gave a bonus to all 3 (Social, Ship, All), wouldn't it be giving extra to social and ship (because you'd get the bonus to social AND the bonus to all, or a bonus to ship AND the bonus to all).

Would seem to make sense to just give a bonus to all, 'cuz then it'd just give one and it'd apply to social, to ship OR to "all" manufacturing improvements like the factory.

I agree not giving it to all, leaving "all manufacturing" improvements like Factory seems kinda nonsensical.

The manufacturing bonuses seem to be kept completely separate so they couldn't stack in this way. All Manufacturing bonuses do not apply to Social or Ship Manufacturing tiles, it appears to be strictly like for like.

No, "All Construction" adjacency bonuses do stack to all 3 manufacturing types -- All, Social and Ship.

"All Construction" adjacency bonuses apply to every manufacturing improvement that benefits from any of 3 the adjacency types.

no, all construction does not apply to all ship manufacturing, it should but misses some. I think it does apply for all social construction, however the description for many colonization events is poorly worded and uses production, when it should use manufacturing or actually affect production.

Ok so I shot through the start of a new game to test this out having considered that previous save games may have been buggy. Still have the same outcomes that All Manufacturing adjacent bonuses only apply to other All manufacturing tiles. I agree that what you are saying should be happening but it isn't, well not in my games anyway

The behavior I have seen:   deep core mine will accept either social or all, but gives all.  Starport accepts ship or all, but gives ship.  Factories give and accept all.

Then you get the funky buildings, such as Arcean.  Weather receives approval, does not accept all, but gives all.  Stellar forge gives ship and social, but not all. Nav centers give social, but receive ship and all.

I have no qualms about save-and-reload when it's for these experimentation purposes.

The Thulium Extractor is designated as a "Ship Construction Improvement."  It doesn't seem to get any actual adjacency bonuses, but is designated as a Ship Construction Improvement.  Oddly, it takes (judging by the < and > indicators) an adjacency bonus from a Starport which gives a Ship Construction adjacency bonus, but not from a Factory which gives an All Construction adjacency bonus, but the Factory does give a bonus to the Starport.

EDIT:  Forgot to mention this is 2.6.
