PBEM and/or "pitboss" MP?

Hi all, new here, downloading game ;)

I don't have too much time to play MP at all, and timezones could be an issue. I solved this over years with PBEM games. AFAIK, GalCiv3 doesn't allow PBEM at all, but don't know if there are something like civilization has, pitboss games. Well, I never played a pitboss game, but AFAIK, pitboss games are servers running 24/7 and configured with a timeframe for turns for example 24h or 48hours. This way, you can enter to your game, play your turn, and exit, when all players plays their turns, turns move and so on...

This is so interesting too because, well, as far as I readed, GalCiv3 allows as much as 48 players on a game with max size of map, and well, sync 48 players to play together at the same time, could be an interesting challenge.

There are some way to do this on GalCiv3?

PBEM and stuff was dead before Alpha started.

The only way now is to set up a MP game on a computer and a person to stay up 24/7 and we join and play a turn as scheduled. No passwords though.

At least the AI has a measurable IQ.

Didn't played yet, but I don't think extra development is needed just for asking a password each turn
