Pending achivements?

I can see the 9 pending indication, but I can't see what they are.

Its the same for me.  It must be pending implementation.

These achievements were just unlocked.  They are still hidden, however, so you can unlock them but you can't see what they are before you do.

So far the ones I know about are for:

1. Recruiting a Citizen
2. Promoting a Citizen
3. Creating a custom faction

Edit: Note, I am on the 2.3 opt-in release, but I don't think that has anything to with the Steam Achievements.  Please let me know if I'm wrong.

4. Crush the Resistance :  Conquer  a planet defended by enemy legions.

Hmmm...can you confirm what the achievement is called for creating a custom faction? I just did that and it didn't unlock?

Actually, I think it does somehow. I just recruited a citizen and it did not unlock

There isn't one for creating a custom civ, there is one for winning a game with one, Built From Nothing.

New achievements:

• Recruiter - Train your first citizen
• Join the Resistance - win as Terran Resistance
• Rock Eater - win as Onyx Hive
• Gloriously Gelatinous - win as Slyne
• Backup Plan - finish Crusade tutorial
• Human Resources - Promote your first citizen
• Spy Master - ?
• Crush the Resistance - conquer a planet guarded by enemy legions
• King Maker - ?

May I ask what the process is for getting the opt-in patch, btw?

NM figured it out. and I can 100% confirm I did need the patch for achievements

Spymaster you get by placing a spy on an enemy improvement. Kingmaker I don't know. 

KIngmaker is for creating a custom civilization after opt-in on Friday.  Previous custom civs don't count.  It unlocks as soon as you save it in the Civilization Builder.

I can confirm what Moser_Alchemist said, I just created a new custom faction with the Crusade Civilization editor and got the Kingmaker achievement as soon as I saved it.

I just beat tutorial but did not get the achivement. Does difficulty matter?

Just beat it again on normal--no unlock. For those who got it, can you confirm if there was a special condition?

Are you on the 2.3 opt-in release?  It appears to be required for these achievements, although I didn't think so when I first posted above.  I got the Backup Plan achievement when winning the Crusade tutorial on normal.

Yes, I downloaded it. It is indeed required--still no dice though

3 seperate games on different difficulty levels and no achievement--is there a special trigger, at all? I just end it each time by capturing the Drengin planet while it is still undefended.

No, that's exactly how I did it.

Wow, you've been working hard at it!  I have yet to get the Slyne, Onyx, or Terran Resistance.

Looks like the new achievements are no longer hidden in Steam.

Saw that! But now I can't launch the game. Keeps crashing to the loader.  I'm gonna post on a new thread and see how many people have the issue.  I really want that last achievement (well, last for me, other than a multiplayer win and a thousand hours   )
