Multiplayer : Crusade DLC has Custom Races broken?

Custom Races in Multiplayer Crusade broken

I am assuming this has already been published somewhere.  Multiplayer - using custom races is broken.  Worked before the Crusade DLC.  Have all other DLC's & this worked.  Custom races do not appear in the selector as eligible races.

Is this coming back soon?  I can wait for a fix - but would like to know so we can determine if (me & my friends) need to return the DLC to steam in the next week or so.

Not broken, not in game currently and that is working as intended.  They are working on bringing this back so it can work better with the "new" custom races so that the player doesn't have to wait for several minutes for 100's of factions with ships downloading.  They disabled this while they are working on it.

Too bad this information wasn't spread around on Steam, or in the description of the DLC.  Plus the other features that are either quirky or don't work.  Or create a nightmare for you if you accidentally select something like EnableMod.  Might have saved themselves a TON of bad ratings.  Maybe grayed out the feature until it works..
