Just short and sweet

 

Things I love (soo many but here’s my top)

1) Citizens

2) Shipyard projects

3) New starbase system

4) New economy system

5) Flavor text

6) Resource system

7)  Galactic wonders

8) New tech trees (albeit a bit wonky but you’ll fix that)

9) All the good folks at StarDock GREAT WORK

 

Things I hate (some not new)

1) Loss of admins with sip loss or starbase destroyed

2) When leaving govern>Colonies screen, last planet selected should be selected in main map

3) Govern>Colonies screen.  Does not remember last sort

4) Removal of planetary projects (but I am warming to the new system)

5) Trade response “we have plenty of that” when they have ZERO and could use it.

6) New default ship designs & weapons….. Duplicates with different names

7) Really hate the BestDefense in blueprints. Really want you to bring back a system like in GalCiv 2 where you could adjust the priority.

8) The fact that some galactic achievements can be destroyed after built

So if the administrator is ON that ship or starbase, how exactly are they supposed to survive the destruction?  Beam me home before that last explosion, Scotty?

If it takes resources to build a ship and the ship gets destroyed, you don't get those resources back, so...why would you get the "administrator" resource back.

I know some don't like it but it's logical the way that it is, and knowing that admins are a fairly precious resource means take care of them.

I could see something like bumping the admin arrival counter by 1 or 2 if an admin is destroyed to "fill the void" but you can't get too crazy or you'd be rewarding players for being sloppy with resources.

It's also be nice if survey ships on auto-survey didn't go sailing into closed borders or borders of AIs you're at war with and commit suicide.
