Unable to progress past turn 228

I've gotten used to the changes and 12 hours in, the game is stuck. I cannot save, cannot go back to the main menu unless I click retire and the turn won't complete. If I hover over either save, load or main menu, it says please wait until ship movement, battle, invasion and colonisation are resolved. I've tried the same turn a couple of times and even rolled back a couple of turns and it doesn't help. I'm really pissed off at losing 12 hours of game time.

 

Since originally posting, i have tried re-installing crussade and verified the files etc on steam to no avail.

Issue a ticket with the support tool info and a save game.

Funnily enough, i properly hated crusade yesterday but having gotten used to it, i think on balance i prefered it until this.

I feel your pain! I can no longer progress past turn 261 in my last game. Went back a couple of saves previously and did different things but it crashes each and every time at this turn. So this game is officially dead. Sent in the saved game and debug.err file to pshaw in the hopes it will help them track down the issue.

Got the same issue. At turn 276 for me, a couple turns after my first invasion.

My current game is at turn 237.  I'm really liking this game so far, although I may have chosen not enough civilizations for the map size this time.  Anyway, I hope it doesn't crash on me.
