Played a game last night where I picked the second tier benevolant ideology revealing a calss 10 planet. However nothing happened no planet appeared. I still have the save its required.
Dumb question but are you sure. It was a bug awhile back bur has bee working for me. Sometimes i have a challenge finding the planet though.
It has worked every time for me. However, there is no longer the news pop up on the screen. it is over on the left side info report thing now. If you don't click on that to figure out the system it could be hard to find as the game no longer puts this world in the systems you already own.
It has always appeared in a near-by star system that is not inhabited. (which sorta sucks for production but a world is a world is a world early game)
Its always worked for me. However, I've seen scattered reports that it doesn't work sometimes or gives you a dead planet instead.
