Clock

As someone who "one more turn" myself into the wee hours.  Maybe add a clock, place it on the bar with the resources?

Seconded. I asked for this back in 2015. The lack of which hasn't stopped me from playing- but that's the problem!

I love the clock in several games. I am wondering if we can mod this in ourselves?

Get a second monitor with the clock on it, problem solved.  Wear a watch, problem solved.  Have other clocks around the room (cable box or satellite box), problem solved.

Not that I'm against it, just stating the obvious.

I wear a watch, in fact I take it off and set it near the monitor. I get it. but sometimes if its 'in game' its in your field of vision.

What you really need is a timer.  After 16 hours of continuous play the game locks your computer for 8 hours so you are forced to go get some sleep finally. :)

How about one with an alarm you can set?

No offense guys but please no! No use of money/resources towards something that doesn't add to the game in the least.

two had a clock.

Yeah, I support the idea. Sure it's "not essential, but nice to have" mainly, but otoh I would not imagine this to take a huge amount of the dev's resources...

Actually the computer has an internal clock it would b a small class.

End of admiralWillyWilber's quote

It eventually had a clock. I have a vague recollection that it wasn't until the second expansion and we did rather a bit of wheedling on the boards.

Wheedle.

Cell phones have audible alarms.

The 8gadget tool package has a digiclock with an alarm.

A grandfather clock (not necessarily full size!) that chimes on the hour and half hour.

I admit that one has to think relativistically about this, as time obviously moves about three+ times faster when the game is being played.  (Oh, I have a half-hour, I can get in a couple of turns.)
