Finally space monsters

never fought space monsters it's time to research weapons, and to fleet up. It's about time. To bad they don't have specialized attacks.

They do have kinetic weapons instead of the beam weapons of the space pirates. I consider that a plus for them. It makes me rethink my early defense choices when they show up.

I never saw monsters yet, but after 100 turns of improving your own ships wont it be them getting the surprise? Or your saying they can strengthen over time faster than you can? If so, COOOOOL!

I'm not knocking the weapons themselves. I'm knocking the naming of the weapons. I would like to see creative names. like teeth or spit.

I always thought it was kinetic weapons because they were throwing rocks and asteroids at us.  Spitting rocks works, though. You can argue they get more velocity that way. :)
