Well I was wrong. This started happening, I'm using Naked Noir skin. When you add transparency to the background in Explorer I get a black unreadable background. In trying other skins when I apply the transparency this happens. Turn the Transparency off I get a normal white background.

I right clicked to delete a file and this is what I get when I actually click the delete button:

I have reproduced this in 8.1-32/64, and 7-32.

Thanks!

Not having any issues at all in Windows 8.1 64-bit either here. But I don't apply transparency to explorer. Not having the right click on icon issue either. :)

Tom try Naked Noir with transparency and see if this happens.

OK, yes, that issue occurs with Naked Noir.

Other than explorer background transparency, is anyone having issues with this latest beta?

There is that icon issue AlMonty mentioned Neil. I checked it out and it happens here too on Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Oops, I meant AceMatrix.

ya same issue i reported as well.

seems to only occur on notifications

like i said i only use facebook and messenger modern apps but seems the issue is when theres unread messages the icons dissappear completely until you mark all as read

hate to be a bother guys.im not denying your accomplishments.i just want it to work perfectly not just for myself but for all stardock customers

seems to be less jittery on all other counts though, just a minor annoyance

Isn't that the explorer background issue again?

Yes, IE Favorites works again. Thank you.

Well it did before I posted this reply, now it doesn't.

Yes it is. I was merely demonstrating that it only effects my particular machine when engaging in this process of deleting a file. Just trying to help cover all the bases when you try to remedy the problems.

Well, going back to 10.46 beta here on Windows 7, 8 and 10. 10.48 screws up the edges of PaintShop Pro X1 with some sort of transparent look on the right and left edges in Windows 7 when the program is maximized.

Also, I run a dual monitor system and always have WB open on the 2nd monitor. 10.48 beta refuses to open on the second monitor on all 3 OS's.

I think I will wait for final release.

how would i end up going back to 10.4.6 and does it fix the issue of the dissappearing icons when you get a notification/unread messages.i hate looking at my screen to figure out whitch icon is hiding atm for what.

i could go to 10.0.0.7 since it doesnt have this issue but then i get the issue of no universal apps being skinned lol

cant win here :/

A screenshot of the problem with paintshop pro would be useful please.

Regarding opening WB, it opens wherever it was last positioned.  I have just checked here and it continues to work as it always has.  Do you have anything else running that might be remembering positions?

Well, I already uninstalled 10.48 Neil, but the problem is when PaintShop Pro X1 is maximized, the left and right side of the work area, the left and right screen edges would have what seemed like a 20-30 pixel or so wide vertical transparent looking overlay on the window itself. I do realize though that PaintShop Pro X1 is an older version, but anything above that I do not like at all as far as functionality. This issue occurs only on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, I just checked 8.1 and 10 again and they do not have this issue. Sorry for the initial post of it occurring on all 3 OS's.

I have many applications that open on the second monitor and everything else I have set to open there does except for WB 10.48. I drag it to the second monitor, close it, and next time I open it, it opens on the primary monitor. This happens on Windows 7 and 8.1, Windows 10 is fine and opens on the second monitor like it should, I just double checked.

Tried windowblinds beta and the 10.07 and still the taskbar buttons don't flash to let u know u have new msgs or warning etc . The windows 10 default theme works fine. This used to work fine in previous builds. If anyone tries going back to the win 10 default theme u will see the taskbar buttons flash when getting msgs or windows warnings etc. Hope it gets fixed.
