Problem: Planetary Improvements

Building multiple improvements a turn

I've been trying to find a way to make planets with excess production able to build multiple planetary improvements/ships in the same turn.  Does anyone know how to go about doing this?

You cannot. Shipyards and planets can produce no more than one improvement or ship per turn without exception.

I noticed you can only rush by one building per turn. It wont let you rush buy more than one, however.....

 

I have often seen planets with several rush bought items in the queue because of anomaly effects.... you know, the effect that comes because the game is busy stiffing you on the free techs.

 

What happens the next turn i did not notice? do they all get built? if so.... well that is an 'exception'

Also if you have the "ability" which grants your first building free when you colonize, you can still "buy" one at the same time, which gives you 2.

 

What you would have to do to mod this is likely make it a "landing event" each round of the planet, which would give you the free one, then you can purchase one at same time.

cheesy that is why on several comments that they said they won't do this. If you modded it that way the Terrans would be way more powerful than anyone else; unless, you made everyone colonisers, Let's say you programmed it where you could build more than one per turn. You would either roll over the Ai, or you would have to program it where if you didn't get your economy up then the Ai would steamroll over you. If you had this feature.
