Game ruining [BUG] stray projectiles takes 5-10 minutes after battles

Hello,

Please do not ask for a save before investigating this, as it happens in every single game, and multiple people complain about it.

Very often, on the strategic map, you'll see the battle resolve, then stray projectiles will fly the wrong way, and keep going until they reach the literal edge of the map. This can sometimes take several minutes. Of waiting. Just so you can take your next turn.

Your worst enemy? Not the Drengin, the Yor, the Dread Lords, whatever. Its this bug!

This is the only report of such symptoms I have seen on these forums.  It doesn't even sound close to anything I have heard about, especially the 5 to 10 minute part.  Anything that lasted that long was never going to resolve itself.  It would be best to go through the process and submit a ticket to Stardock.  It is highly likely to be something unique to your system, but Stardock may be able to give you a pointer as to what it is.

Edit:  Others seem to recognize your issue, so I certainly retract that part of my reply.  I still think it is worth checking with Stardock.

This is probably the same bug as:

I see this happen to me, too, occasionally (takes a minute or so on large maps to resolve).

As for the excessive duration: I suppose you are playin on one of the larger map size, which means it takes longer for this bug to resolve, due to the longer distance the projectiles have to travel (to some kind of (0,0) or uninitialized coordinates).

Thank you. Looks like that didn't have a response, though.

Folks, this is definitely happening.
