I'd suggest starting a support ticket and including that save so we can get more information if needed.

I have also been getting random freezes since patch 1.71. I tracked it down through the debug.err file, and fixed it by verifying local content. Also submited a Ticket - #WXG-657-30637. Just cause it keeps happening and its always the same 3 corrupt files.

Zynek, if you open the debug.err file in notepad and have a look at it, see if you can find:-

Debug Message:  CSDFModelCore::LoadModelData has detected an SDF file that is an older version of SDF than expected: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\Gfx\Models\Components\Meshes\ColonyModel_WeaponTexture_A_01.sdf

I am wondering if its the same issue. You can also verify local conent and see if that "fixes" anything.

My issue above seems to be related to some AI's colony ship getting attacked, I know its AI's cause I dont have any, and this is the last entry in the debug.err file:

Debug Message:  CBattleSystem::AddBattle IncrementMovementHoldCount ticket 10 attackerID 22899 defenderID 24096 count 22

 Edit:

Ah well jinxed myself I guess, cant get it to continue this time round. Reloaded previous Auto-Save and got it to go 1 extra turn. Still freezes :(
