List of bugs present through patch 1.71

These didn't all start with patch 1.71, they are just still occurring. Not sure which DLC caused them, as they all started after I download all available DLC:

- No colonization events for "normal" planets after around the 34th planet

- No longer able to take over planets or starbases via culture flipping. Have planets that are completely sorrounded by my culture, but they won't flip

- Starbases not auto-upgrading mining improvements when there is a constructor in the starbase

- Can't rename planets when colonizing them, have to do it from govern screen. It lets me enter a name and select OK, but it just reverts back to the default

The culture flip Thing. I had that before, it's not that it doesn't flip, it's that you need a ton of culture to do it. I had 5 culture star basses and 2 next door planets building nothing but culuture generating structures and only then did I get the planet.

Also a Melvolent Trait that makes Colonies immune to Culture Flip.

I don't think starbases ever flipped.

Planets, though, they do flip.  I just had one of my planets flipped over by an another race.

SB's and asteroid mines flipped in GC2. In GC3 only planets flip, except the nice Bene trait of enticing that flips planets and SB's.

It takes a while for planets to flip in general unless your influence over then is enormous. You can hover over the planet in question and see if it is in revolt and also see how much influence you have over it and what percentage it is in revolt. When it gets to 100% in revolt it flips.

#1 known  they are working on it

2 & 3- working fine in all my games

4- ? also seems to be working fine for me, can you be more specific about how you are trying to do it

Never seen a starbase flip in galactic civilizations. Always either had starbases in their influence or theynhad starbases in mine usually both.

Starbases don't flip. Never have.

Minor civ planets don't flip either. They have 100% immunity.

The last time I took the Benevolent trait that flips all planets in your zone of influence it flipped 4 minor civ planets also.  Is that an exception to the 100% immunity rule?

Are you playing a mod.

I have a recent bug in MP, well two but might be related.

Playing with a friend during my turn (on a large Spiral, custom factions, 12 bots) I brought ships to attack a starbase, it asked if I wanted to go to war to attack and said yes, nothing happened so I ended my turn, then when my friend finished his turn it was stuck on his turn when he Ended it and was stuck on "wait" for both of use

Second issue is after I noticed the issue, I used the diplomacy screen to wage war, this worked but a few turns later I asked my friend why one of his ships were by itself and not part of the fleet, I named it and he said no such ship existed, then when he ended that turn it did the bug from before (ending his turn but my turn never coming up stuck on "wait") this one was an obvious de-sync

If that question was addressed to me, then yes, I am using a tech tree mod, but no mod that affects ideology.  The Enticing trait does say that "all planets and starbases" flip.

Yes, that is an exception.  Minor Civ planets are often nicely developed and are very good rewards for your passive aggressive influence expansion.  It also works against your partner in a teamed MP game. ;)  Now, that is a really aggressive passivity.  :)

yes.  The Benovelont trait flips everything.  Otherwise, minors and starbases do not filp.

What i meant by mod was affecting on minors as in colonizing other planets. I guss if stardock wants to flip minors home worlds. I don't think they should flip.

ah, no, I don't think any of their colonies can flip.  Sometimes, I see a minor colonizing/conquering one or two other planets, and they never flip.
