We're Kings Of Our Domain's - Yet......................:

    When I was playing multi player in Galactic Civilizations III, it was noticed that though no other species was around any of our (Thalan / Terran) planets, the proverbial neutral zone was between us and our nearby neighbors, and we had 100 percent influence around our domains, we had an exclamation mark next to our planets influence numbers indicating that we were under some type of influence attack.
 
    I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced that type of influence occurrence??????

Yup, I think it happens when a neighbors planet nearest you has higher per turn influence than the planet with the ! . That is what I have observed, once I built a culture SB + some improvements on said planet to take the planets influence higher than his, after a few turns it went away.
