Not able to Manipulate parts in ship designer

Hello, i'm trying to figure out what happened to the ship designer. i used to be able to manipulate the rotation and offset all parts in the SD, but now i can only scale the parts and even then i can't scale the parts in one direction, it's all sides. i have no idea as to what did this. i have mods on (though i don't have any mods that add parts or do anything involving the SD), show all ship designs and parts, and show over capacity designs. could any of these prevent me from doing the level of manipulation we had a few months ago?

Nayrb24,

I was just editing a ship and the rotation/offsets are working fine for me.  Are you editing a particular design that I could take a look at?

ok i'll try to get the pics in, but i'm just using one of the base iridium ships, throwing on the stellar folding part, and the stuff that is supposed to show up in the bottom right corner isn't showing up but all the hard points show up.

Id remove and mods/custom faction/designs you have and see if it is still an issue.

yea, i was using mods and a custom faction, but i just tested this with one of the core factions (terrans), no mods, no map editor map, and with the "show all ship designs" off. And i'm still getting the same thing, i can only scale the parts uniformally. All the ship styles i use are the default ship styles. does anyone know if not having the mercinaries expansion could be doing this?

Did you uncheck "proportional scaling"?
